Incident To BIlling

Supervision Requirement for “Incident to” billing

To ensure that H3 is a compliant site for client-centered, evidence-based services, we choose to participate in group supervision. All Contract therapists are required to attend 1 hour of group supervision with Clinical Director once monthly. The Clinical Director will provide two sessions for 1.5 hours each per month, and it is the responsibility of the clinician to block time in their schedule to attend for 1 hour. If a clinician is unable to attend one of the scheduled supervisions, they must arrange to meet with the Clinical Director privately, at the cost of $50, or can forego the 5% incentive to attend.

Note Requirement for “Incident to” billing

The Clinical Director will be reviewing and signing off on all clinical notes. All clinicians are required to “Lock” their notes in Simple Practice. This is done by clicking the “Sign and Share with Supervisor” link after saving your note. Once a note has been locked, it can no longer be edited, and the clinician’s signature will be time stamped at the bottomof the note. The locked notes are then sent to the Clinical Director for review and final signing.

Payment regarding “Incident to” billing

_____ Payment for fully licensed Contractual Clinicians participating in “Incident to” billing will be paid a 5% increase on top of the already determined split fee percentage.
