Clinicians are independent contractors.

Clinicians sign an independent contractor agreement and credentials are verified prior to official hiring. Clinicians must provide proof of credentials, including licensure, certifications, diplomas, as well as liability insurance. Clinicians must provide updated licensure and liability insurance information yearly.

H3 selects clinicians who represent the values, goals, and customer service standards of the practice.

H3 selects clinicians with experience in providing care to individuals of diverse backgrounds and clinicians with demonstrable skills in crisis management and de-escalation.

Clinicians are orientated to the philosophy, values, policies, procedures, and standards of care of H3. Orientation occurs at the time the Independent Contractor Agreement is signed and continues on an as-needed basis. Updated information is provided at case conferences and staff meetings.

On a bi-yearly basis, clinicians will participate in a Professional Development Meeting with the Clinical Director to discuss any deviations from the Independent Contractor Agreement.
