Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LMSW (she, her)
Are you struggling with ADHD? Or the underlying depression, anxiety, and shame it can brings? Do you feel yourself burning out more often than celebrating successes? Now that I have your attention, I want you to know you’re not alone! Many people, myself included, have felt this way. And this is the reason I have dedicated myself to this journey: I was sick of burning out and the way my all-or-nothing brain worked. After my ADHD diagnosis, I dedicated my time to learning about and truly understanding this disorder. Now I am here to share what I’ve learned and help other people who are beginning their own journey.
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with a Masters in Clinical Social Work. I went on to work in crisis management in inpatient hospitals, so a some intensity and big feeling won’t scare me off! I am comfortable with other persistent issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders and I use elements of CBT, DBT, positive psychology, validation, mindfulness, and empathy, in my practice.
